Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt's ambassador for Switzerland has said that companies forecast a rise in the number of Swiss tourists visiting Egypt in 2018.

Swiss tourists to Egypt are expected to surge by as much as 60% to over 120,000 tourists in 2018, Hesham Seif El Din said in a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday.

The data also showed that Swiss tourists may book up 1.2 million nights in Egypt this year, the minister added.

Seif El Din came during his participation at the FESPO Zurich conference in the Swiss capital.
