Sahara Centre displays world’s largest gold ring at $3m
The $3 million 21-carat ring weighs around 64 kilograms

Dubai - Mubasher: Sahara Centre, a Sharjah-based retail, entertainment and leisure destination, on Sunday stated that it would display the world’s largest gold ring, Najmat Taiba (Star of Taiba), for its visitors.

The $3-million 21-carat Najmat Taiba weighs around 64 kilograms (141 pounds) and is decorated with 5.1 kilograms (11 pounds) of precious stones and diamonds, along with 615 Swarovski crystals.

It took 55 jewel smiths 10 hours a day for 45 days to craft Najmat Taiba, which is owned by Dubai-based Taiba Company. 

The massive ring has been recognised by the Guinness Book of World Records
