Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia-based Kingdom Holding Company (KHC) on Thursday announced that Prince Alwaleed bin Talal will resume his work as chairman.

In November 2017, Saudi authorities started an anti-corruption probe that led to arresting some officials, ministers, and princes, including bin Talal accusing them of corruption.

On Saturday, the Kingdom’s government released KHC’s chairman after reaching a financial settlement.

“We are very pleased to welcome back HRH Prince Alwaleed to continue his important work as Chairman of Kingdom Holding Company,” KHC’s CEO Talal said.

“The strategy of Kingdom Holding Company is aligned with Vision 2030 under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to create strong investor appeal and a business environment in which KHC and our partners can flourish.” Almaiman added.

KHC's stock inched up 0.20, closing Thursday at SAR 9.99.
