Riyadh – Mubasher: A subsidiary of The Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) has signed an agreement with Riyadh-based energy producer ACWA Power international to produce 300 megawatts of solar power,  Saudi Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources Khalid Al-Falih said on Monday.

The project is the first of the National Transformation (NTP) projects, Al-Falih added, noting that there will be another project for wind power in the coming period.

The deal of this project was announced during the International Geological Conference in Jeddah.
