Mubasher: National Leasing Holding Company on Thursday announced that its profit hiked 21 times to QAR 23.3 million ($6.4 million) during the fourth quarter of  2017, up from QAR 110,000 ($30,200) in the same period a year earlier.

The Qatar-based company’s net profits slid 40.2% to QAR 3.09 million in 2017, compared to QAR 5.17 million the year before, according to a statement to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE).

Earnings per share (EPS) amounted to QAR 0.06 for the period ended 31 December 2017 versus QAR 0.10 in the prior year.

The company's board proposed a distribution of a cash dividend of 5% of the nominal share value or QAR 0.50 per share.
