Mubasher: European indices on Tuesday reversed early gains and turned lower, while UK equities saw mixed performance before standing in green.

By 08:55 am GMT, the Eurozone’s main index Stoxx 600 declined 0.19% to 372.24 points, while UK FTSE 100 inched up 0.01% to 7,177.93 points ahead of inflation data due at 09:30 am GMT.

Meanwhile, Germany’s DAX tumbled 0.36% to 12,238.34 points, while France’s CAC 40 lost around 0.26% to 5,126.71 points after preliminary private payrolls’ data showed a better-than-expected increase.

In line with global equities, European stocks on Monday posted sharp gains after registering its worst week in 2 years.

The euro last climbed 0.25% against the US dollar to $1.2323.
