Dubai - Mubasher: Emirates NBD on Tuesday announced that it has come first in The Banker’s annual brand valuation league table, with a $3.534 billion brand valuation.

The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) listed bank has moved up four places from its spot in the previous year in The Brand Finance Banking 500, which is a ranking of the world’s 500 biggest banks conducted by Brand Finance, Dubai's largest bank said in a statement.

“We are honoured yet again to hold on to our position as the UAE’s most valuable banking brand by a renowned institution such as The Banker,” vice chairman and managing director of Emirates NBD Hesham Abdulla Al Qassim commented.  

“In 2018, we will continue to lead initiatives to simplify banking, incorporating our high tech and high touch approach to deliver a modern technology-driven banking experience with the human touch,” the top official concluded.
