Dubai – Mubasher: Orascom Construction Ltd, the dual-listed company on Nasdaq Dubai and the Egyptian Exchange (EGX), was removed from the MSCI small-cap index, according to the MSCI Emerging Markets Index’s semi-annual review, previously known as "Morgan Stanley”.

The MSCI Emerging Markets Index includes 23 countries, accounting for 10% of global markets.

Joining the MSCI Index hinges on liquidity, ease of investment, and transparency. The index includes three Arab markets: Egypt, UAE, and Qatar.
