Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Monday’s trading session with a mixed performance; the benchmark price index lost 0.13% or 8.9 points to 6,712.07 points.

By 9:57am Kuwait time, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices went up 0.01% and 0.09%, respectively.

Technology companies topped gainers with 2.7%, followed by the consumer goods and banking sectors with 0.54% and 0.51%, respectively.

Meanwhile, the industrial segment led decliners with 0.76%, dragged by UPAC which lost 17% to be the top loser.

Boursa Kuwait’s turnover amounted to KWD 4.92 million after 18.9 million shares were traded through 805 transactions.

The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) posted the highest trading value of KWD 2.24 million.

Ithmaar was the most active stock on which 3.51 million shares were exchanged.
