Mubasher: Qatar's real estate transactions hiked 13% month-on-month to QAR 1.16 billion ($319 million) in January 2018, according to the Justice Ministry's report on Monday.
The report showed that property deals in the world's richest country per capita surged 18% to 309 in the first month of the year.
Al Rayyan, Qatar's third-largest municipality, has seen the highest real estate transactions last month with a total value of QAR 398.6 million, followed by Doha and Al Daayen with a combined value of QAR 280.9 million and QAR 191.12 million, respectively.
While the mortgage sector's transactions amounted to 57 with a total value of QAR 2.94 billion, the report highlighted.
