Riyadh – Mubasher: The number of female investors at the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) rose 1.8% or 17,800 year-on-year in the fourth quarter of 2017.
Female investors’ number reached 989,700 in Q4-17, compared to 971,900 in the same period a year earlier, the Saudi Capital Market Authority's (CMA) data revealed.
The number of male investors’ stood at 3.68 million by the end of Q4-17, compared to 3.64 million the prior-year period.
Year-on-year, total number of investors at Tadawul hit 4.7 million during Q4-17 versus 4.6 million in the corresponding period the year before.
Portfolios increased 1.7% to 9.4 million by the end of Q4-17, from 9.2 million in Q4-16.
