Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Wednesday in the green after the benchmark price index rose 15 points, or 0.23%, to 6,695.56 points, while the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices inched up 0.18% and 0.20%, respectively.

By 9:36 am Kuwait time, oil and gas sector increased 2.91% as Independent Petroleum Group’s (IPG) stock grew 12.22%, while Gulf Petroleum Investment’s (PetroGulf) stock gained 1.36%.

The industrial segment levelled up 1.33% after Human Soft’s stock added 4.3%.

On the other hand, the insurance sector fell 1.02% as Warba Insurance Company’s stock declined 13.71%.

Boursa Kuwait’s trading volume reached 9.4 million shares traded through 415 transactions with a liquidity of KWD 1.3 million.

Ahli United Bank’s(AUB) stock, which gained 0.5%, led the bourse’s risers after 2.03 million shares were exchanged, generating KWD 428,000.
