Mubasher: Qatar Airways on Wednesday announced that it has received the first generation of Airbus A350-1000 on Tuesday 20 February 2018 in Toulouse, France.

 The Doha-based carrier becomes the world’s first operator of the plane, Qatar Airways CEO Akbar Al Baker said.

Qatar has ordered 42 aircraft of Airbus A350-1000, Al Baker added.

The A350-1000, manufactured by European planemaker Airbus, boasts a range of technological advances, including its composite construction that allows for higher cabin pressure and humidity and more cabin temperature zones.

The new craft also has over 16 million LED ambient light settings that can be programmed to help reduce jet lag and hospital-grade HEPA filters that improve air circulation, according to Forbes.
