Blue chips drag ADX down Thursday
The real estate sector went down 1.24%

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s (ADX) general index fell 4.07 points, or 0.09%, to 4,579.6 points on Thursday.

The ADX’s trading volume rose to 51.5 million shares from 46.1 million on Wednesday, while the market’s liquidity grew to AED 121.1 million, compared to AED 119.3 million in the previous session.

The real estate sector went down 1.24% after Manazel Real Estate shed 1.72%, while Eshraq Properties and Aldar Properties retreated 1.37% each.

The energy sector levelled down 1.05%, dragged by TAQA and Dana Gas, which tumbled 2.56% and 1.35%, respectively.

The banks sector sank 0.27% after Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) and First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) fell 1.22% and 0.44%, respectively.
