Dubai – Mubasher: Emirates NBD is planning to invest around AED 1 billion into its digital transformation programme during the coming three years, Group Chief Operating Officer Abdulla Qassem said on Thursday  

Dubai's largest bank's investments will focus on five main areas; namely the integrated transformation of processes, building a more accessible and responsive user interface, providing diverse channels for services, enhancing security and anti-fraud functions, and improving data and analysis management, Albayan Newspaper reported, citing Qassem as saying.

 The lender's plans are in line with “Smart Dubai” initiatives to improve the customers' experience, the top official said.
