Mubasher: Gold prices surged on Friday, supported by the decline in the US dollar amidst growing fears of a potential global trade war.

Gold futures for April delivery rose by 1.43%, or $18.70, to $1,323.80 per ounce.

However, gold prices are set to post a weekly loss for the second consecutive week.
