Mubasher: Crude oil prices on Friday rebounded slightly, but remained on track towards posting a weekly decline.

By 08:20 am GMT, Brent crude increased by 0.41% to $63.87 per barrel (pb), while Nymex crude futures rose 0.32% to $60.31 pb, having closed at 3-week low on Thursday.

These moves came after US President Donald Trump has officially signed tariffs on steel and aluminum imports and agreed to meet North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

Earlier this week, the Energy Information Administration (EIA) reported that oil stockpiles expanded but less than expected during the week ended 2 March, while supplies grew by a daily rate of 86,000 barrels.
