Mubasher: US final wholesale stockpiles expanded more than expected in January, data by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) showed on Friday.
Inventories rose 0.8% during the first month of 2018, totaling a value of $619.1 billion, compared with a revised increase of 0.7% in December.
Economists had expected a rise of a 0.7% in January.
Meanwhile, wholesale Inventories grew 4.8% year-on-year in the first month of 2018.
By 03:24 pm GMT, the EUR/USD pair climbed 0.11% to $1.2325.
