Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Sunday’s trading session down, dragged down by the drop of three sectors.
By 10:05 am Qatar time, the general index fell 10.78 points, or 0.13%, to 8,297.56 points.
The bourse's turnover amounted to QAR 24.1 million after 854,500 shares were traded through 443 transactions.
The transportation sector topped the QSE’s losers falling 0.29%, pressured by Qatar Gas Transport which dropped 0.59%.
On the other hand, the good’s sector topped the market’s four gainers adding 1.41% as Zad Holding Company hiked 10%.
Similarly, the banking sector went up 0.12% after Qatar National Bank (NBK) grew 1%.
Vodafone Qatar’s stock, which levelled down 0.39%, led the market in terms of trading volume with 186,890 shares, while Masraf Al Rayan’s stock, which advanced 0.03%, led the bourse in terms of liquidity with QAR 4.9 million.
