Cairo – Mubasher: Obour Land for Food Industries on Sunday reported a 50.17% year-on-year surge in unconsolidated profits for 2017.

The white cheese maker generated profits worth EGP 243.26 million last year, versus EGP 161.99 million in profits in 2016, according to a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

The standalone financial statements have revealed that revenues grew to EGP 2.06 billion in 2017, compared to EGP 1.45 billion a year earlier.

Given that Obour Land’s profits jumped 96.5% to EGP 80.56 million in the third quarter of 2017, versus EGP 40.99 million in the same period the year before.
