Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Tuesday’s trading session with a grouped incline; the benchmark price index added 0.22% or 15 points to 6,740.61 points.

By 9:45am Kuwait time, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices went up 0.05% and 0.03%, respectively.

Technology companies topped gainers with 3.11%, followed by the consumer services sector which added 2.3% in line with the 20% rise of Alrai media which topped the winners.

Meanwhile, telecom companies led decliners with 0.42%, dragged by Ooredoo and Aan Digital with 1.9% and 0.9%, respectively.

Boursa Kuwait’s turnover amounted to KWD 1.92 million after 8.8 million shares were exchanged through 485 transactions.

Kuwait Finance House (KFH) was the most active stock on which about 917,320 shares were traded at a value of nearly KWD 532,800. The stock levelled down 0.34% to 581 fils.
