Mubasher: A.P. Moller–Maersk Group aims at attracting new customers for its port division by becoming a one-stop shop that can transport goods from factory to retailers’ shelves.

The Danish giant, which is the biggest container shipper in the world, is entering uncharted territory following its sale last year of most of its energy businesses, as reported by Reuters.

Maersk is witnessing a major shift of focus for its entire business towards transport and logistics, as it is seeking to optimize its entire end-to-end supply chain.
