Mubasher: The benchmark price index of Boursa Kuwait started Wednesday’s trading session 0.07% or 4.5 points lower at 6,723.82 points.

Meanwhile, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices added 0.05% and 0.04%, respectively.

By 9:46am Kuwait time, telecom companies went down 0.4% in line with the 1% decline of Viva.

The industrial segment also retreated 0.33%, dragged by Human Soft which lost 1.02%.

Meanwhile, the basic materials segment topped four gainers with 0.52%, followed by the consumer services segment which went up 0.4%.

Al Massaleh Real Estate was the top winner with a growth of 9.72%, while Credit Rating and Collection (Tahssilat) led losers with 19.73%.

Boursa Kuwait’s turnover amounted to KWD 1.4 million after 7.6 million shares were traded through 430 transactions.

Jazeera Airways posted the highest liquidity of about KWD 474,700. The stock lost 0.83%.

Up 1.08%, International Financial Advisors (IFA) was the most active stock on which 1.44 million shares were exchanged.
