B-Tech eyes EGP 4.3bn sales in 2018

Cairo – Mubasher: B-Tech is targeting a 26% year-on-year increase in sales for 2018, chairperson and managing director Mahmoud Khattab said.

Electronics and appliance seller is planning to achieve sales of EGP 4.33 billion this year, compare to EGP 3.43 billion in sales for 2017, Khattab highlighted.

The Egyptian home appliances retailer seeks new investments worth EGP 800 million in 2018, versus EGP 150 million in investments last year, he added.

The household products chain is willing to pump EGP 15 million into social initiatives, he noted.

B.Tech is working on raising the number of its branches during 2018 by opening a new branch each month, he said, pointing out that the company has 75 branches across Egypt now.

The company is also planning to create more than 500 jobs across the country’s governorates by the end of 2018, upon which that the number of workers is projected to reach around 3,356 by the end of the year, Khattab pointed out.
