Cairo - Mubasher: Air Arabia Egypt has expanded its routes and launched a new destination to Jeddah’s King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA) from Sohag International Airport.

Marking the seventh route announced by the company in 2018, the new line will operate on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays starting 20 March.

The KAIA-Sohag flight duration will be 80 minutes long, the airline said.

“The route to Jeddah from Sohag will further contribute in the travel and tourism growth of Egypt and Saudi Arabia offering direct connectivity between both cities. This step also underlines our commitment to offering our passengers access to destinations at tremendous value,” Air Arabia’s CEO Adel Al Ali said.

Air Arabia Egypt is a 50%-owned subsidiary of Dubai-listed Air Arabia, which currently operates flights to more than 147 destinations all over the world.
