Dhaman partners with IBM to create healthcare system in Kuwait
IBM is currently one of the top ten brands influencing the world’s economy

Mubasher: Health Assurance Hospitals Company (Dhaman) has signed a strategic partnership agreement with the multinational technology company IBM; this partnership comes within Kuwait’s development plan and Vision 2035 “New Kuwait”.

This joint agreement aims at developing the Digital Health System, in addition to launching the Kuwait Digital Health Roadmap Initiative, according to a recent statement.

Upon this agreement, Kuwait’s Dhaman intends to become a regional pioneer in the domestic technological healthcare sector by 2020.

“The agreement aims to achieve a qualitative leap in the quality of services provided to the public to increase efficiency, reduce operational costs and waste, and optimise capital assets and equipment,” the statement said.

the New York-based computer services firm is currently one of the top ten brands influencing the world’s economy, and is one of the largest technology, digital health, and artificial intelligence global companies.

Dhaman was founded in 2015 as a public-private-partnership (PPP) project with an authorised capital of KWD 230 million.

The CEO and board member of Dhaman, Ahmad Al Saleh, said: “The partnership with IBM will enable DHAMAN to connect with international and innovative institutes and centres around the world and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in technology and healthcare.”
