Mubasher: Khaleeji Commercial Bank (KHCB) on Wednesday announced the appointment of Jassim Mohammed Al-Seddiqi as its new chairman.

The decision was taken during the Bahrain-based bank’s board meeting on Tuesday, according to a company statement. 

"I am very proud to be a board member of KHCB, one of Bahrain’s leading Islamic banks which was able to position itself among the Kingdom’s leading banks and financial institutions through excellent financial performance,” Al-Seddiqi said.

Based in Manama, KHCB is a leading Islamic bank that offers a range of high-quality Shari'a-compliant banking services and investment opportunities.

In March, Khaleeji Commercial Bank had appointed Sattam Sulaiman Al Gosaibi as its CEO.
