Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has been in talks with top US companies’ officials over possible investments in the kingdom.

Bin Salman discussed potential opportunities with Magic Leap founder CEO Rony Abovitz, Saudi Gazette reported, noting that the meetings were held in Los Angeles.

A US-based startup, Magic Leap develops mixed reality headsets and operates in augmented reality. It is looking to beat competition from Apple, Facebook, and Microsoft.

Last month, the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF) unveiled plans to pump $400 million in investments in Magic Leap.
In a separate meeting, Bin Salman Saudi reportedly discussed a possible collaboration with Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc.’s CEO and chairman Kevin Tsujihara.

The talks entailed cooperation in training Saudi youth in the culture, entertainment, and media sectors.

Other media sources reported that the Gulf nation’s Crown Prince was planning to tackle the planned initial public offering (IPO) of Saudi Aramco US President Donald Trump during the visit.
