Cairo – Mubasher: The total investments of Etisalat Misr, the Egyptian unit of the UAE's Etisalat, has registered over EGP 44 billion ($2.48 billion) in the last 10 years.

Etisalat Misr exerts more efforts to cover the major projects executed by the Egyptian government, especially the New Administrative Capital, the company’s CEO Hazem Metwally said.

The Egypt-based telecom firm has raised its paid-up capital in the Egyptian market to EGP 19.43 billion.

Etisalat Misr is planning to pump around EGP 2.5 billion in 2018 to develop its infrastructure and improve its 4G network service.
