Saudi indices end Thursday in green
TASI rose 21.38, or 0.27%, points to finish at 7,824.12 points.

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Thursday in positive territory, after two straight losses, amid low liquidity.

Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose 21.38, or 0.27%, points to finish at 7,824.12 points.  

TASI’s traded volume stood at 189.27 million shares on Thursday, against 271.75 million on Wednesday, while trading value decreased to SAR 4.09 billion, from SAR 5.87 billion.

The capital goods topped the TASI’s gainers adding 1.04%, while basic materials and banking sectors grow 0.44% and 0.16%, respectively.

On the negative side, the media sector headed the market’s seven losers falling 0.68%, followed by the food and staples retailing and telecommunication sectors with 0.61% and 0.12%, respectively.

Astra Industrial’s stock topped TASI’s 91 gainers with 5.94% at SAR 18.02.

Dar Arkan’s stock, which advanced 1.87$, led the bourse in terms of trading volume with 62 million shares, generating SAR 811.5 million in liquidity.

In the meantime, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, rose 46.21 points, or 1.55%, to close at 3,027.18 points.

Baazeem Trading’s stock, which levelled up 4.7%, headed the parallel market at SAR 24.50.
