Riyadh - Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) saw a negative performance this week, after rising for five consecutive weeks.

The Tadawul All Shares Index (TASI) lost 1.62% or 129 points, as it ended the week at the level of 7,824.12 points.

The market capital lost SAR 25.3 billion to settle at SAR 1.857 billion.

All of the market sectors ended the week in red, with pharmaceuticals leading the decline with 5.4%, followed by media and publishing with 4.15%, while REITs registered the smallest losses at 0.85%.

Telecom, materials, and banks fell 1.51%, 1.48%, and 1.24%, respectively.

Traded values levelled down 0.95% to SAR 23.52 billion, compared to SAR 23.75 billion last week.

Volumes also decreased by 1.48% to 1.04 billion shares, down from 1.06 billion.

On the other hand, the Nomu-Parallel Market rose 3.9% to 3,027.18 points, after declining for five weeks in a row.
