Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The ordinary general meeting (OGM) of Fujairah Cement Industries Co approved distributing 6% of the capital as cash dividends for fiscal year 2017.

Fujairah Cement, which is listed on both Boursa Kuwait and the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), will pay 6 fils per share to the entitled shareholders, according to a recent statement.

According to Mubasher’s calculations, the company will pay a total of AED 21.4 million in dividends for FY17.

In FY17, Fujairah Cement posted a decline of 35% in profits to AED 37.1 million compared to AED 56.7 million in the previous fiscal year.
