Al-Tahadi Co wins EGP 50m bid to dredge Damietta Port waterway
Al-Tahadi will manage lifting work of around 1.25 million cubic metres to set up the waterway at the depth of 16 metres

Cairo – Mubasher: Al-Tahadi Egyptian-Emirati Co has been recently awarded an EGP 150 million tender to dredge a waterway at Damietta Port, top official at the port said.

On Thursday, the Suez Canal Authority (SCA) announced the inauguration of Al-Tahadi Egyptian-Emirati Co for dredging and drilling works with a paid-up capital of EGP 200 million.

Upon the tender, Al-Tahadi will manage lifting work of around 1.25 million cubic metres to set up the waterway at the depth of 16 metres from 14.5 metres now, the official told Mubasher. Cost of lifting one metre stands at EGP 20.
