Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Tuesday in the green after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose 21.62 points, or 0.27%, to 8,071.92 points.

By 10:30 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume reached 32 million shares changed hands through 18,430 transactions, with a turnover of SAR 669.6 million.

The pharmaceuticals sector inched up 0.97%, followed by materials with 0.34%, banks with 0.3%, and telecommunication services with 0.19%.

On the other hand, the retailing sector shed 0.47%, while commercial and professional services inched down 0.25%.

Saudi Industrial Services Company’s (SISCO) stock led risers with 5.05%, reaching SAR 14.36, whereas Arriyadh Development Co.’s stock declined 3.77% to SAR 19.42.

Meanwhile, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, fell 0.12% or 3.71 points to 3,167.56 points.

Thob Al-Aseel Company’s stock lost 1.78% to SAR 64.40, whereas the stock of Al-Samaani Factory for Metal Industries rose 0.27% to SAR 48.50.
