Cairo – Mubasher:  Amer Group Holding Co has started the execution of the 90-acre first phase of Porto Said project in Western Port Said, chairman Mansour Amer told Mubasher.

The project will be implemented at a cost of EGP 3 billion, Amer added, pointing out that it comes as part of the development scheme that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has called for during his visit to Port Said.

For his part, governor of Port Said Adel El Ghadban said that the project provides 6,000 permanent jobs, in addition to 5,000 temporary jobs.

This project will upgrade the tourism and services levels in Port Said, as well as boost the governorate’s hospitality capacity, El Ghadban noted.

In April 2017, Amer Group had announced a plan to establish an entertainment area under the name of “Porto Said” that would feature a number of hotels, malls, chalets, and yachts.
