Dubai – Mubasher: Emaar Hospitality Group, a subsidiary of Emaar Properties, plans to expand its hotel business with more than 30 projects in the UAE, Bahrain, Turkey, and the Maldives, CEO Olivier Harnisch said.

Harnisch remarked that the group has 12 hotels and three destinations for hotel apartments in Dubai under its three brands, according to Emarat Al Youm newspaper.

The Emirati group’s revenues from hospitality, entertainment, and leasing business amounted to AED 2.7 billion in 2017, he indicated.

Our hotels are keeping recording high and strong occupation rates that hit 79%, the CEO added.

Emaar Hospitality Group has recently inaugurated Rove Dubai Marina, the brand’s fifth hotels in Dubai, he pointed out.

Harnisch further noted that the group plans to launch further projects across the city, in line with expanding in Saudi Arabia through the construction of new hotels.

In March, Emaar Hospitality had announced the expansion of its hotel business through launching Vida Za'abeel within the framework of Za'abeel Square, currently developed jointly by Emaar and Meraas.
