Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Sunday’s trading session down, pressured by the drop of three sectors.
By 10:00 am Qatar time, the main index fell 26.24 points, or 0.29 %, to 9,170.38 points.
The bourse's turnover amounted to QAR 46.03 million after 2.56 million shares changed hands through 690 transactions.
The industrial sector topped the QSE’s decliners losing 0.43% as Qatar Electricity and Water fell 1.48%.
Similarly, the transportation sector went down 0.36% due to the drop of Gulf Warehousing and Qatar Gas Transport by 0.78% and 0.48%, respectively.
Meanwhile, the real estate sector topped the bourse’s four risers adding 0.36% as Ezdan Holding Group went up 1.08%.
The banking sector inched up 0.04% after Qatar International Islamic Bank (QIIB) levelled up 0.93%.
Mesaieed’s stock, which advanced 3.33%, led the market in terms of trading volume with 1.56 million shares, generating QAR 26.56 million in a liquidity.
