Mubasher: Dubai-based TIME Hotels plans to inaugurate six new properties across the Middle East by the end of 2020.

The Emirati hospitality company will announce the new properties during Arabian Travel Market 2018 (ATM), which will take place at Dubai World Trade Centre on 22-25 April, according to a press release.

“Our current pipeline of hotels and residences meet the demands of multiple value-driven markets by offering a high-quality stay across all our brand portfolio,” CEO of TIME Hotels Mohamed Awadalla said.

By adding two new hotels in the emirates of Dubai and Sharjah, the regional hospitality group will boost its brand presence in Saudi Arabia and Egypt by the end of 2020, in a bid to increase its total portfolio to 20 properties across the Middle East, Awadalla added.

The UAE hotel operator will debut its three-star TIME Express Hotels brand, to be opened in Sharjah during the third quarter of 2018, featuring 55 keys in total, including 45 standard rooms and five suites, with an additional five disabled-friendly suites.

The second property under the TIME Hotel Apartment brand is also scheduled to open in Q3-18, the press highlighted, adding it will feature 33 studios, 53 one-bedroom units, 11 two-bedroom units and two fully adapted, disabled-friendly apartments.

The company will also inaugurate two new hotels in Dubai including the firm’s first five-star property; the first one, set to open in 2020, will boast 277 rooms and suites, while the second, located in the Al Barsha area, is a four-star hotel comprising 232 rooms and is scheduled to open during Q4-18.

TIME Hotels is also expanding in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and Ras Sudr, Egypt, which reinforces the brand’s strength and popularity overseas.

The company’s first resort in Saudi Arabia is scheduled to open during Q2-18, while its first beach resort property in Ras Sudr, Egypt is under development, and is set to open during 2018, the press highlighted.

TIME Hotels is planning to undergo a series of refurbishments, including the refurbishment of 100 apartments under the TIME Hotel Apartments brand at TIME Crystal Hotel Apartments by April 2018 and 64 apartments at TIME Topaz Hotel Apartments next May.

It is worth noting that TIME Hotels is expected to showcase expanded portfolio at Arabian Travel Market 2018.
