Dubai - Mubasher: The 25th edition of Arabian Travel Market (ATM) launched on Sunday, 22 April, in Dubai, featuring the cutting-edge technologies and latest trends in the hospitality and aviation markets.

ATM 2018 takes place at Dubai World Trade Centre from 22-25 April.

The 4-day event hosts around 2,500 companies, including Emirates Airlines, Etihad Airways, Emaar Hospitality Group and Rotana Group, in addition to other local and international firms.

It is expected that the total costs of deals, which will be signed on the sidelines of the event, would exceed $2.5 billion.

Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and first deputy chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, opened the exhibition Sunday morning‍.

State-of-the-art technologies, including artificial intelligence, and growing demand for midscale hotels are projected to be the main focus of the event that will also consider the rise of sustainable travel and responsible tourism, according to a local newspaper.
