Cairo – Mubasher: US-based IQ Power plans to invest $300 million in Egypt, CEO of IQ Power Egypt Sharif Al-Haj said.

The company aims to build solar energy projects with a capacity of 300 megawatts, Al-Haj told Daily News Egypt.

The solar company seeks to boost its projects capacity by collaborating with other firms and compete for tenders recently launched by Egyptian Electricity Transmission Co (EETC), he noted.
