Dubai – Mubasher: Central Hotels on Sunday revealed that it will open two new hotels in the emirate of Dubai in May, thereby doubling the number of its keys across the emirate.

The hotel company describes its newest properties as having been designed in the contemporary style “to serve the needs of modern business and leisure travellers.”

The new properties are Royal Central The Palm, which includes 207 keys, and Canal Central in Business Bay with 280 hotel rooms, Central Hotels said in a statement.

The latter is strategically located in Business Bay on Sheikh Zayed Road and quite close to the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), Dubai Design District, Dubai International Convention Centre and Exhibition Halls, The Dubai Mall, Burj Khalifa and Dubai Fountains.

“Our expansion strategy demonstrates our commitment to support the growth of the destination and its envisioned potential. We look forward to being part of this incredible success by contributing positively to the hospitality sector in the UAE,” commented Ahmad Al Abdulla, Chairman of Central Hotels.

The company’s strong growth in the emirate is backed by the city’s massive expansion in tourism infrastructure in preparation for the Expo 2020.

Meanwhile, Central Hotels’ general manager Ammar Kanaan revealed that the two hotels will be “smarter and more environment-friendly” with the company’s paperless approach and initiative.

Central Hotels made the announcement during its participation at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) exhibition which began Sunday and concludes Wednesday in Dubai.
