Mubasher: Gold prices declined for the second consecutive session, on the back of a strong dollar.

The precious metal futures remained near its lowest level in five week, losing 0.4% by the end of Thursday’s trade and settling at $1317.9 per ounce.

The USD rose on the back of the surge in treasury yields that exceeded 3%.
