Mubasher: Qatar Central Bank (QCB) on Tuesday has issued treasury bills (T-bills) worth QAR 1.5 billion ($412.05 million) over three tranches.

The first tranche, valued at QAR 900 million, will mature for three months with a return of 2.49%, according to recent data by the (QCB).

The second six-month tranche, worth QAR 400 million, will mature on 1 November, the bank said.

The third nine-month tranche will mature on 5 February 2019 at a value of QAR 200 million with a yield of 2.84%.

The QCB issues these T-bills within the framework of improving Qatar’s monetary policy.
