Moody’s opens office in Saudi Arabia, names GM
Totonji will focus on developing new business relationships

Riyadh – Mubasher: Moody's Investors Service (Moody’s) on Wednesday announced the inauguration of an office in the Saudi capital of Riyadh as part of its expansion plans in the kingdom and overseas markets.

Moody’s also appointed Mahmoud Totonji as head of relationship management and general manager for its new unit in the GCC nation, according to a statement.

“Establishing a new office in the Saudi capital underscores our deep commitment to contributing to the broader dialogue on GCC capital markets,” Moody's Investors Service president Robert Fauber said.

Totonji will focus on developing new business relationships and expanding the current customer relationships in Saudi Arabia and other Middle Eastern nations.

“Given the Kingdom's increasing prominence in the debt capital markets and its plans for further expansion under Saudi Vision 2030, we look forward to continuing to provide insightful, transparent and predictive credit ratings,” Totonji said.
