Tadawul’s trading value decreased to SAR 3.6 billion

Riyadh – Mubasher: The benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Monday’s trading session 0.04% or 3.55 points higher at 8,117.42 points to register its third consecutive session in green.

Tadawul’s trading value decreased to SAR 3.6 billion ($958.67 million) on Monday from SAR 3.95 billion ($1.05 billion) in the previous session after the trading volume shrank to 159 million shares from 161.89 million.

The food sector topped five gainers with 1.43%, while the public utilities segment led the decliners with 2.77%.

Tawuniya was the top winner with a rise of 4.89% to close at SAR 71.70, while Wafa Insurance led the losers with a fall of 9.91% to close at SAR 12.18, the lowest level in two years.

Dar Alarkan was the most active stock on which 42.4 million shares were traded at a total value of SAR 549 million. The stock lost 0.47% to SAR 12.7.

At the Parallel Market level, NOMU index closed Monday 0.51% or 16.07 points higher at 3,152.06 points.

Al Kathiri was the top winner with a gain of 1.56% to SAR 32.50, while DWF led the losers with 7.59% to SAR 75.90.
