Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Ras Al Khaimah White Cement (RAK White Cement) achieved a growth of 8% in profits during the first quarter of 2018 compared to the same period a year ago.

RAK White Cement, which is listed on both Boursa Kuwait and the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) posted AED 8.4 million profits in Q1-18 from AED 7.8 million in Q1-17, according to a bourse filing on Wednesday.

The company’s sales shrank by 19% to AED 53.2 million in Q1-18 from AED 65.8 million in Q1-17.
