Mubasher: Gold prices ended the last trading session of the week lightly down, but registered weekly gains for the first time in four weeks on the back of a weaker dollar.

The precious metal futures slipped 0.1% and ended Friday’s trade at $1,320.70 per ounce.

Gold has recorded a weekly rise of around 0.5%, as the US dollar fell against major currencies.
