Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Monday’s trading session with a mixed performance, as the Main Market index went up 0.08%, while both the All-Share market and Premier markets retreated 0.32% and 0.54%, respectively.

The technology segment led nine decliners with 4%, while the consumer services and financial services sectors were the only gainers with 0.26% and 0.18%, respectively.

Mashaer Holding led the losers with 8.16%, while Al Madar headed the winners with 25.1%.

Boursa Kuwait’s turnover increased by 12.7% to KWD 7.1 million on Monday compared to KWD 6.3 million in the previous session after the trading volume grew by 11.3% to 44.02 million shares from 39.57 million.

The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) recorded the highest trading value of KWD 1.56 million. The stock retreated by 0.14%.

IFA was the most active stock on which 4.87 million shares were traded, the stock went up 2.65%.
