Saudi indices see negative performance early Tuesday
The insurance sector increased 0.27%

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) started Tuesday in red territory after dropping 21.12 points, or 0.26%, to 7,975.3 points.

By 10:45 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume hit 13.92 million shares exchanged through 11,850 transactions, with a turnover of SAR 255.64 million.

The consumer durables and apparel sector declined 0.8%, followed by real estate management and development with 0.6%, telecommunication services with 0.44%, banks with 0.32%, and materials with 0.13%.

On the other hand, the insurance sector increased 0.27%, while pharmaceuticals sector inched up 0.17%.

Al Sorayai Trade and Industrial Group’s stock fell 2.63% to SAR 20.70, whereas Methanol Chemicals Company’s (Chemanol) stock was the best performer with 3.97%, registering SAR 9.70.

Meanwhile, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, tumbled 0.03%, or 0.92 points, to 3,083.06 points.

Al-Kathiri Holding Company’s stock went down 5.95%, while Al-Samaani Factory for Metal Industries’ stock fell 1.96%.

On the other hand, the stock Abo Moati for Bookstores edged up 0.84%.
