Mubasher: Natural gas storage in the United States increased by 91 billion cubic feet last week, as shown by the data released on Thursday.

The rise in natural gas stockpiles comes below the experts expectations of 92 billion cubic feet.

Total natural gas storage in the US reached 1.629 trillion cubic feet by the end of 18 May, according to weekly report of the Energy Information Administration (EIA).

Storage data had a positive impact on natural gas prices, as futures for June delivery went up by around 0.1%.
